I am on a mission to showcase the stories of Black creatives so that Black creatives from all backgrounds can access what’s possible.
Growing up, I was inspired by Black creatives who paved the way and showed me that it was possible to thrive and create a life and career as a creative. But starting out as a creative in a recession was scary. Was it even possible?
It was.
Not only that, I’ve been able to discover a wealth of possibilities that I didn’t even know existed for me as a young Black woman. At this point in my career, I am passionate about helping others learn from my experiences so they can find their own path and flourish. I share my creative lessons via #blkcreatives, a digital collective that I built from the ground up.
